Key Responsibilities:
Reporting into the Divisional Manager, you will tasked with leading and coordinating a team of Field Service Engineers whom are delivering a range of mechanical services to their core clients, as well as leading the team towards achieving and exceeding their goals.
You will be tasked with the following duties:
- Lead and manage the team, providing direction, support and guidance
- Ensure that the team are performing and have a strong customer mindset
- Develop, motivate, and coach the team to ensure they are competent in their role
- Engage and drive internal and external training sessions
- Collaborate with the Sales and Service Operation teams management, providing support and insights
- Conduct employee reviews, including performance development plans and goal setting
- Ensure that the team are equipped with the right tools and PPE, conducting frequent tool and fleet vehicle audits
- Ensure the Field Service Engineers tools are calibrated and documented
- Manage performance issues
- Ensure there is a strong safety culture in the team
- Effectively communicate with customers on job planning and coordinating the work-flow with the team
- Cost management of approved budgets
About you:
- Educated in Business or Engineering is preferred
- A strong background in technical service delivery
- 5 -10 years work experience in Service or Technical operations
- Experience in leading and coordinating skilled Engineers and technicians
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Problem solving mindset
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Internal and external stakeholder management
