About the Organisation:

Our client is an essential member of Australia's national security community, working across the full spectrum of operations required of contemporary signals intelligence and security agencies: intelligence, cyber security, and offensive operations in support of the Australian Government and Australian Defence Force.

About the Role:

Our client is seeking multiple non-ongoing APS 4/5 staff to fill the roles of Recruitment Support Officers. The Recruitment Officer will support the recruitment function within the organisation and provide support to various regions within a centralised recruitment function, managing recruitment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Advertising positions using eRecruit, APSJobs and Universal McCann.
• Manage internal inboxes, providing support and recruitment advice to business areas.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
• Respond to candidate enquiries and provide candidate support throughout the selection process.
• Scheduling and facilitation of interviews and assessment centres.
• Request referee checks in support of recruitment activities and respond to merit pool requests.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a recruitment position (either public service or recruitment agency).
• High level of interpersonal, organisation, written, and sound communication skills
• Accurate data entry and high attention to detail
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• eRecruit system experience is highly desirable
• Working knowledge of merit selection principals is also highly desirable
• Must be an Australian Citizen, willing to undertake a National Police Clearance and have a minimum baseline security clearance.
