ManpowerGroup is actively engaged with a State Government department that is now looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to support the wider finance team on an initial 5 month contract with high potential to extend.
In this role, you will provide financial support and knowledge to the department's internal and external stakeholders.
What to expect:
- Contribute towards budget management and development, by providing accurate and sound financial advice to all levels of management.
- Processing of payments and reconciliations
- Financial reporting
- Contract management
- Financial journals and month-end
About you:
- Part CPA/CA qualified
- Prior experience within a similar environment, understanding Government policies and procedures and applying that knowledge to your decisions
- Results and action driven
- Available to start immediately
