Our client is a wholesaler and distributor of quality products to the outdoor leisure industry, is seeking for Cabinet Maker/ Assembler

NO Qualification Needed. Career Progression for the right candidate.

Start the job as a casual for a few weeks ( trial period ) @ $42.07 per hour casual rate.

After trial period, we will offer Full time for the right candidate.

Starting From $70,000 PA, depending on experience.

Mon to Fri 7am to 3:30pm

Duties but not limited

  • Reviewing drawings and assembling outdoor kitchen modules according to plan.
  • Installation of outdoor kitchens on site for the end customer including rubbish removal.
  • Completes on site pre-installation inspections when required.
  • Delivery of materials to site.
  • Assist the team with maintaining a clean and safe production environment.
  • Cutting materials as required.
  • Assists in developing, implementing and improving procedures in the production workshop.
  • Assist with rework of products when required.
  • Building and installation of displays for the factory outlet/s.
  • Assists with product improvement.
  • Comply with policies, procedures and instructions in the polices and procedures manual for workplace health and safety.
  • Complete any and all other tasks as required.

About you

To be successful as the new Cabinet Maker/ Assembler you will:

  • Proven cabinet maker experience and knowledge in the field.
  • Great Customer Service & communication, Reliable and Switched On
  • Sound knowledge of different surfaces and materials.
  • Computer skills - Word, Excel.
  • Sound numerical and literacy skills. Must have strong mathematical skills to perform calculations and measurements.
  • Good with practical work and manual activities.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to operate cutting and joining tools and machines.
  • Ability to work precisely with an eye for detail.
  • Car & License - company van will be provided within working hours only to travel from warehouse to site.
