Our client, a leading State Government prison requires an open minded cleaning team leader who will be working in close proximity with prisoners undertaking supervising of staff and cleaning duties.


  • Supervise cleaning staff and areas
  • Ensuring cleaning areas are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
  • Provide training and support to new and existing staff.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Demonstrate respect for all workers.
  • Encourage mutual respect and understanding within the team.
  • Foster an inclusive environment where diversity is valued and celebrated.


  • Previous cleaning supervisory experience
  • Current Tasmanian Drivers Licence
  • Be of a good nature
  • Be open minded about the real development and improvement of inmates
  • Looking to make a real improvement to the state of Tasmania
