Job description

Our client is an international insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting firm, operating more than 60 countries. They are the chosen partner of more than 130,000 Australian businesses, from small businesses through to multinational corporations and iconic brands.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative sales support to internal and external customers while maintaining exceptional service to all of their clients and customers. This role will also support day to day sales activities, communicating with team, clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to clients and the team by effectively managing all administrative tasks and completion of client renewals
  • Receive inbound and make outbound calls and emails in attending to queries from clients, insurers and internal stakeholders
  • Provide timely excellent customer service to all external clients, internal and broking staff at all times
  • Ensure information provided is of a high standard including attention to detail
  • Reconcile invoices as required, ensuring correct invoicing procedures are maintain
  • Consistently apply ethical and professional standards and practice in all circumstances to uphold our client's reputation and brand.
  • Deliver on operational and process changes for efficient client delivery
  • Achievement of budgets and goals utilising our performance development framework

Key Skills:

  • Strong level of computer knowledge and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent telephone manner and relationship management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to quickly pick up new information
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Good problem-solving skills in order to respond to client enquiries
  • Desire to work collaboratively in small team environment
  • Ability and adaptability to work in high volume, high paced environment.
  • Managing relationships

Qualifications & Education:

  • Customer Service experience either within in corporate environment or Insurance desirable
  • Tier 1 Insurance broking qualifications (AU) to obtained within first six months
