Coordinator of Business Development

This senior position reports to the three Directors of the READ Clinic and is a core member of the READ Clinic's Executive Team. This exciting role is responsible for implementing The READ Clinic's short and long term strategic plan including: Business Growth; Marketing; Financial Governance; Project Management; Recruitment and Relationship Development.

As the Coordinator of Business Development you will be responsible for implementing and reporting on all aspects of the READ Clinic's Strategic Plan. You will have experience in: management; project invention and completion, creating and implementing strategic plans; reporting on, and meeting Key Performance Indicators; implementing communication and IT strategies; developing and maintaining relationships. The role also involves identifying and building new business development opportunities; engaging key partners; improving existing systems across the clinic; and training.

This role may include management responsibilities across satellite sites, with skills in establishing new teams, training, and transferring existing systems & processes from the main READ Clinic site.

As a part of the Executive Team, you will be contributing to the overall success of this well established Psychology Practice with your skills to:

  • Update and review the READ Clinic's Strategic Plan on a quarterly and yearly basis with the Directors to ensure that the Strategic Plan aligns with the business objectives mission and vision;
  • Work with each Director to implement the objectives of the Strategic Plan;
  • Effectively communicate;
  • Create, implement and review policies and procedures;
  • Create communication and marketing platforms;
  • Manage consecutive projects;
  • Interview and select Psychologists and Provisional Psychologists;
  • Capacity to coordinate training initiatives;
  • Manage tight deadlines and delegate work as required;
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets and forecasts;
  • Understand legal contracts;
  • Identify and report relevant financial and operational statistics;
  • Add significant value by establishing efficiencies;
  • Implement & maintain best practice business processes across the Clinic;
  • Oversee all management operations across the Clinic.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you will possess proven leadership, business development and management skills with the ability to work with a key range of stakeholders and manage multiple projects, with experience in financial reporting and marketing. You will have the ability to be effective in a work environment which includes multiple priorities, while maintaining a focus on business growth.

You will passionate, driven and have extensive experience in developing and completing multiple projects. You have the ability to critically think outside the box, to work independently, and are outcome focused. Knowledge of social media would be advantageous.

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., Bachelor of Business) or 4+ years experience in a business development or growth role is essential. You will have strong human resources skills, and communication ability. You will also have a strong history of significant achievements from a business perspective.

The expectation is that you are a strong leader who can function autonomously and take responsibility for business growth.
