Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Coburg North

Hourly Rate: $35 + Super
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Type: Ongoing with Temp-to-Perm Opportunity (after 3 months)

We are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy recycling facility in Coburg North. This role involves working with a range of commingled recyclables, including plastic, glass, paper, cardboard, and metals (aluminium and steel).

You'll spend approximately 80% of your time operating a counterbalance forklift and 20% performing manual handling tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and wants long-term stability.

• Safely and efficiently operate counterbalance forklifts.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Move recycling bales and stock around the warehouse and onto trucks.
• Perform manual handling tasks (lifting up to 20 kg).
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and follow all safety protocols.

• Minimum 6 months forklift driving experience.
• Valid forklift license.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20 kg.
• Ability to work under limited supervision.

• $35 per hour + superannuation.
• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
• Ongoing work with temp-to-perm opportunity after 3 months.
• Work in a supportive team environment at a recycling plant.
