Job description
We are excited to be partnering with a boutique financial services provider here in the heart of Sydney who are looking to expand out their Credit Analyst team. This role covers both NCCP and non-NCCP lending, focusing on private credit, distressed, and complex lending scenarios. The Credit Analyst will assess and prepare loan proposals, review valuations and financials, and manage settlements across first and second mortgage transactions. You'll work closely with the sales and operations teams while overseeing a small offshore support group.
Responsibilities of the role:
- ● Assess and prepare credit proposals and broker notes across NCCP and non-NCCP lending.
- ● Analyze valuations, financials, and complex company structures for private and distressed lending deals.
- ● Workshop loan structures and scenarios with lenders to identify suitable solutions.
- ● Manage settlement coordination, documentation, and communications.
- ● Maintain communication with the sales team to ensure turnaround times and client expectations are met.
- ● Oversee offshore support staff to ensure accuracy and workflow efficiency.
- ● Ensure compliance and credit standards are upheld across all deals
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a credit analyst or credit assessment role.
- Proven experience across private credit, distressed, and non-bank lending.
- Strong understanding of both NCCP and non-NCCP loan structures.
- Confident analyzing valuations, company structures, and supporting documents.
- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
