Job description
Our client is a leading provider of pet cremation services in Australia with a national footprint.
This role contributes significantly to providing premium customer service by supporting the Cremation team and Client Field Team in carrying out pet aftercare services in a professional and compassionate manner supporting the company's purpose in "Honouring a Lifetime of Unconditional Love"
Responsibilities:
Customer Service
* Assist Truck Driver with unloading of pets
* Sorting pets into cool rooms
* Handling both private and communal cremations
* Milling and preparation of ashes
* Liaise with the Client Care and Prep Teams as required
* Demonstrate effective and clear communication with compassion and in a professional manner
* Greeting clients at the Crematorium for viewings
* Collection of pets from Vet Clinics in region as required
* Communicate and follow-up with clients as required
* Delivery of pets' ashes to client homes or vet clinics as required
* Attend team and company meetings as required
* Take personal responsibility for upholding standards relating to presentation, property, hygiene, including prompt reporting of loss, damage, or maintenance needs
* Taking responsibility of reporting hazards and risks that may cause harm or injury, and adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures
* Other duties as required aligned to the role's operational requirements
Administration
* Maintain and update the necessary records in respect to Cremations performed
* Ensure all pets are correctly tagged and accurate weights and information identified
* Ensure all tagging and packing is recorded accurately and in a timely manner
Systems & Standards
* Manage the QA of ashes
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness
