Warehouse Lead
A leading manufacturing and logistics operation in Yatala, QLD is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to join their team. This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing daily warehouse activities while guiding a team of 3-10 operators to meet production, safety, and quality targets.

About the Role:
As the Warehouse Lead, you will oversee end‑to‑end warehouse operations including goods receipt, storage, replenishment, production support, and dispatch. You'll coordinate workflow, mentor staff, and ensure all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of 3-10 warehouse operators to meet daily and weekly targets
- Coordinate workflow, allocate tasks, and ensure staff have the correct tools, parts, and information
- Oversee logistics processes including receiving, checking documentation, scanning, put‑away, replenishment, and dispatch
- Conduct quality checks, functionality tests, and escalate non‑conformances through systems such as SharePoint
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring safe work practices and housekeeping standards
- Support training, coaching, and development of warehouse staff
- Attend daily production/warehouse meetings and provide operational updates
- Perform hands‑on warehouse and packing duties as required to support production timelines
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations
- Proven leadership experience managing small teams in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety requirements and safe work practices
- Effective problem‑solving and time management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Reliable, punctual, cooperative, and willing to assist with ad hoc tasks
