Job description

An experienced Dynamics 365 CRM Technical Lead / Solution Designer is required to support enterprise-scale projects in Melbourne. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex transformation initiatives, applying deep Dynamics 365 CRM expertise across design, development, and delivery. This is a 12 month contract paying up to $463.72 per day plus super.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in discovery workshops, providing technical feasibility insights, solution options, and thought leadership.

  • Develop solution designs across Dynamics 365 CRM modules, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.

  • Lead the configuration, customisation, and development of high-quality deliverables, including plugins, workflows, and Azure service integrations.

  • Oversee validation across testing phases, ensuring solutions are robust, compliant, and fit for purpose.

  • Provide technical guidance through implementation, transition, and warranty phases.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Combine technical expertise with strategic thinking, moving seamlessly between hands-on development and solution design.

  • Thrive in collaborative environments, engaging confidently with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate adaptability, with experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.

  • Possess strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and present with clarity.

  • Be motivated to contribute to meaningful transformation initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes.

Must-Have Skills

  • Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.

  • 8+ years of experience as a Developer, Technical Lead, or Solution Designer on the Dynamics 365 CRM platform.

  • Proven delivery experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder engagement capability.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
