We are actively seeking an Electrical Engineering - EV Specialist to become a key member of our client's team located in Docklands, Melbourne. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the fast-growing electric vehicle (EV) sector and play a pivotal role in creating a top-tier charger network.

About Us: Our client is on a mission to establish the fastest and most convenient charger network in their operating markets. As part of the team, you will be instrumental in the roll-out of innovative charging solutions across both brownfield and greenfield sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver EV charge points in ANZ as part of the FM&S installation aim.
  • Support the development of a standard design model for deployment.
  • Assist in site appraisal, network planning, procurement, installation, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Contribute to risk management processes across each region.
  • Support engineering performance management during the roll-out.
  • Provide technical reporting on progress against long-term targets.

Essential Experience:

  • Degree or Qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • Solid technical background in electrical engineering.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards in ANZ.
  • Proven project delivery or support experience in complex hardware solutions.
  • Understanding of Grid access constraints and LV/MV/HV connections.
  • Fluent in English.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with electrical designs.
  • Involvement in construction and commissioning activities.
  • Knowledge of industry standards related to EV.
  • Understanding of Micro grid and Smart Grid concepts.
  • Project Management experience in large-scale engineering projects.
