As a result of development and growth they are seeking to employ a talented Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to support their FP&A Manager in the ANZ FP&A department.

The Role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will work closely with the FP&A Manager to provide valuable business insights through robust planning and targeted reporting. This high-profile role will own the financial planning process and partner with operations with other duties including but not being limited to:

  • Supporting the end-to-end financial budgeting, rolling forecast and strategic long-term planning
  • Collate and upload operational KPIs into the ERP
  • Supporting the FP&A Manager with developing a management reporting suite and updating them on a regular basis
  • Understanding financial trends and variances, providing succinct commentary regarding the financial performance and the associated business drivers
  • Facilitating the preparation of summarised reporting/presentations for consumption by the Cluster MD, Head of Finance to high professional standard which is meaningful to a multinational corporate board and executive team
  • Supporting with and development of business cases and cost/benefit analysis
  • Reviewing and assess business cases developed by the business providing feedback, guidance and support
  • Creating robust, concise executive summaries including recommendations to senior management
  • Ad hoc project work as and when required
  • Cash flow forecasting

About you


As the successful Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst you will be working alongside and supporting the FP&A Manager. You will work strategically and provide valuable insights into the business. You will have excellent knowledge about the reporting software, being the SME when it comes to loading and extracting financial and operational data. The FP&A Analyst will also demonstrate the ability to:-

Skills & Experience

  • Masters/Bachelor's degree in finance
  • Pursuing membership to a professional accounting body or CFA, or the desire to pursue
  • Relevant Finance experience including some experience in an analytical role
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel
