Job description
Forklift Operator
Join a dynamic environment working with beverage and alcohol-based products. We are recruiting an experienced Forklift Operator to support our packaging and warehouse teams across the afternoon shift. This role involves manual handling, production line support, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment with a strong focus on safety.
Key Details:
- Location: Huntingwood, NSW
- Hourly Rate: $40
- Shifts: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Employment Type: Ongoing
- Police Check: Required prior to commencement
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks carefully to prevent product damage
- Transport pallets between storage, production lines, and shipping docks
- Stack and organise pallets in line with inventory procedures
- Assist with inventory and cycle counts for accurate record-keeping
- Pick and pack individual cases or bottles using RF scanners
- Report any machinery or conveyor issues to line leadership
- Maintain tidy and safe work areas, supporting production line operations
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven forklift operating experience in a warehouse or packaging environment
- Valid forklift licence
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices
- Ability to safely lift, move heavy objects, and operate machinery
- Comfortable working in varying temperature and noise conditions
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
