Job description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while helping protect people from scams and fraud? We're looking for Fraud Operations Officers to join a high-performing fraud and scam operations team on a contract basis.

In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, you'll be the frontline of defence for customers experiencing suspicious or fraudulent activity on their banking products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to card fraud, scams, digital fraud, merchant fraud, and disputes

  • Investigate and monitor suspicious transactions across credit cards, internet/telephone banking, cheques, and other banking products

  • Create detailed fraud case files and escalate issues where required

  • Initiate refunds, recovery of funds, and liaise with merchants and other financial institutions

  • Maintain accurate fraud records, reports, and scheme compliance

  • Deliver empathetic and efficient service to affected customers

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in customer service, ideally within banking or financial services

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced operations environment

  • Comfortable with shift-based work, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

  • A strong ethical mindset and attention to detail

  • Fraud experience desirable but not essential - training provided
