Our client, a highly sought after Local Government employer is seeking entry level and experienced Roadside Gardner's for immediate commencement, based in Hobart.
The Role:
- Ensure the sites are always maintained and presented at a high standard
- Routine mowing and turf maintenance
- changing light bulbs, air hose repairs, soap and hand towel dispenser changes
- Roadside vegetation maintenance through brush cutting.
- Weed & pest control - spraying and manual weeding
- Ensure compliance of all occupational health and safety processes and procedures
What we require:
- MR licence or above (desirable)
- Qualification or experience in horticultural parks and gardens, gardening and landscaping (NOT ESSENTIAL FOR ALL ROLES)
- Current driver's license & white card (essential)
- Execute work that is of a high standard
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems.
