High Reach Forklift Operator - Afternoon Shift | Ongoing, Long-Term Role

Shift: Monday-Friday, 12pm-8pm
Pay Rate: $39 per hour + super

We are seeking an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator to join a well-established production and warehousing operation based in Derrimut. This is a long-term, ongoing role within a busy storage warehouse environment.

Please note: the warehouse stores a wide range of food-related ingredients, so there is a strong aroma of spices throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high-reach forklifts confidently and safely (approx. 75% of the role)
• Pick and put away stock using RF scanners
• Navigate racking up to 6 bays high within designated warehouse sectors
• Perform manual handling up to 20kg
• Work safely around AGVs and maintain strong situational awareness
• Report hazards or incidents promptly

Skills & Experience

• Valid LF Forklift Licence
• Proven experience operating high-reach forklifts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy (accuracy over speed)
• Comfortable with manual handling and working with palletised loads (up to ~100kg stacked)
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to a consistent Monday-Friday schedule
• Able to work with minimal supervision
