This role supports payroll operations across all RO entities. It ensures employees are paid accurately and on time, reporting is completed correctly, and payroll processes comply with legislation and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Support payroll processing and pay-related activities across all RO entities
• 
  Prepare monthly and year-end payroll reports
• 
  Maintain employee data in SAP and employee files
• 
  Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers
• 
  Assist with payroll-related audits

Core Tasks

• Complete monthly and annual payroll reports and reconciliations within strict deadlines, including:
  • 
    Payroll Tax
  • 
    WorkCover
  • 
    General Ledger (GL) reconciliations
  • 
    PAYG
  • 
    Superannuation
  • 
    Payroll deductions
• 
  Ensure all statutory payments are processed on time
• 
  Prepare and finalise required documentation from Central Directive, ensuring timely sign-off
• 
  Review DCEA payroll entries and help improve payroll processes

Additional Tasks

• 
  Support bi-annual HRSP system upgrade testing
• 
  Assist with scheduled pay runs when required
• 
  Monitor and respond to payroll inbox queries
• 
  Provide documentation and data for internal and external audits
• 
  Maintain and document payroll processes and procedures
