Join a Top-Tier Brand That Cares - Return to Work Coordinator.
We are looking for a temp resource to support 2-3 days as a HSE Advisor/Business Partner.
- Supporting the Sales function (approx. 1000 employees - made up of approx. 850 merchandisers)
- Qualifications (cert 4 WHS and some return to work coordinator experience - not necessarily injury management)
- Ideally 2-3 years experience, FMCG would be ideal however, not necessary.
- Broad range of stakeholders (front line workers, sales managers, injury management & HSE team)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Return-to-work Coordinator to join a dynamic team within a leading food and beverage manufacturing environment. In this role, you will partner closely with operational teams to embed a strong safety culture, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership teams on all matters relating to health, safety, and wellbeing.
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's WHS Management System in line with ISO 45001.
Drive proactive risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies across all operations.
Conduct and support site inspections, audits, investigations, and root cause analyses for incidents and near misses.- Facilitate safety training, toolbox talks, and workshops to build awareness and capability.
Monitor and analyse safety performance data and trends, providing actionable insights and reporting to leadership.
Lead and support safety initiatives, campaigns, and improvement projects across the business.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and internal policies and procedures.
Champion a safety-first culture and encourage worker engagement and participation in safety programs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or a related discipline (minimum Cert IV WHS, Diploma preferred).
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar HSE or Safety Business Partner role, ideally within the food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing sector.
Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and incident investigation practices.
Experience working in high-volume manufacturing or production environments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships across functions.
