Maintenance Fitter - Manufacturing | Thornton NSW
Are you a qualified Maintenance looking to join a supportive team in a progressive manufacturing environment? We're seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our clients' Thornton site, where innovation, safety, and teamwork are at the heart of everything they do.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a business that values its people and invests in their development. You'll be responsible for maintaining plant equipment, resolving breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your input will directly impact operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Identify root causes of equipment failures
- Support capital and improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with WHS directives
- Collaborate with a close-knit team to deliver high-quality outcomes
What We're Looking For:
- Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter
- Experience in manufacturing maintenance
- Strong knowledge of WHS and risk management
- Welding skills (MMAW & MIG; TIG optional)
- Hydraulics and pneumatics experience
- Forklift licence and reliable transport
- Willingness to work shifts and flexible hours
Desirable:
- Experience with MEX or similar CMMS
- Working at Heights, Rigger or Dogman tickets
- Availability for overtime
