Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician with trade experience looking for a stable role in operations? Join a dynamic team responsible for maintaining industrial facilities with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform planned and breakdown maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and safety at the facility. Your role includes identifying maintenance needs, executing repairs, documenting activities, and collaborating with team members and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct safe and efficient maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and scheduled shutdowns.
  • Support plant reliability and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain comprehensive maintenance records using CMMS.
  • Participate actively in workplace health and safety practices and risk assessments.
  • Manage tooling and critical spares for maintenance tasks.
  • Provide after-hours call out support on a rotating basis.

Work Schedule

  • 80 hours per fortnight on a 9-day fortnight roster.
  • Typical days are 9-10 hours, from approximately 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Hours can be adjusted to accommodate individual preferences upon request.

What We're Looking For

  • Trade qualification in Fitting/Turning, Boilermaking, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of practical trade experience, preferably within an industrial environment.
  • Mandatory licences: Manual Open Licence and Forklift High Risk Licence.
  • Bonus: First Aid Certificate, Elevated Work Platform Licence, Confined Space Entry, and MR Rigid Licence.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety, quality standards, and teamwork.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
  • Ability to handle emergency call outs and work on a 24/7 on-call roster.
