Job description

Location: Brisbane

Salary: 120K plus Commission + Bonus

Industry: Industrial Machinery Sector

As the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales function across the country. You'll lead a team of Sales Representatives, Regional Sales Managers and State Managers, develop and execute sales strategies, and ensure targets are met while fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with business objectives to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Team Management:
    Lead, coach, and motivate a team of regional sales managers and sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Track sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present insights to senior leadership.
  • Client Engagement:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Analysis:
    Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Operations:
    Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management to ensure accurate planning and execution.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.

About You

  • Minimum 5 Years Experience in a Similar position
  • Experience in the Industrial Machinery Sector or Similar position
  • Must be comfortable travelling interstate 2/3 times a month
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally at a national level.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.
