Short Description
We are supporting a leading provider who is devoted to worker's wellbeing. Our client provides an extensive employee assistance program that includes proactive mental health services and training resources for workers and their managers.

Job Overview
Reporting to the CEO, the Practice Manager will oversee the operations and counselling services provided by our clients Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). This position is supervising a team of counsellors, identifying and responding to gaps in service delivery, and additional training for the team. Ensuring that high quality support is provided within the EAP framework and guidelines, and working with EAP services to promote and support staff across their client and the broader community, along with providing counselling to EAP where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Counsellors to meet and exceed standards.
  • Provide Counsellor supervision according to registering body guidelines.
  • Promote and provide Counsellor training.
  • Maintaining and developing policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor or higher degree in Counselling
  • A Minimum of 3 years counselling or similar experience.
  • Demonstrated experience providing supervision to staff.
  • Understanding EAP (Employee Assistance Programme)
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Clear understanding of, and personal commitment to, the purpose and values of our client
