Our client's mission is to build and deliver specialised services to empower Aboriginal young people. They are currently seeking a Programme Manager to support their growing business, a community-driven leader who communicates well, gets results, and has experience managing skilling and employment programs.

This role will supervise a dedicated team delivering services across the region, engaging with individuals, schools, community groups, businesses and the public to achieve program deliverables and outcomes. You'll manage budgets, reporting, and staff performance to ensure success.

Make Tomorrow in Manufacturing (MTIM) - supporting Aboriginal people into sustainable careers
Driver Licensing Access Program (DLAP) - helping participants gain their driver's licence and independence

Essential Criteria:

• Understanding of challenges and strengths in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
• Demonstrated experience engaging and working with Aboriginal communities and youth
• Proven success managing employment, training, skilling or mentoring programs
• Strong people management, data management and reporting skills
• Experience fostering culturally safe workplaces and building stakeholder relationships
• Current Driver's Licence
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Qualifications in management, business, industry, employment, training or community
• Trauma-informed case work experience (highly regarded)
