Job description

Are you an organised, proactive professional with a passion for supporting projects and people? Join our clients team as a Project Coordinator, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of key initiatives across the People & Culture portfolio.


You will provide project coordination and governance support, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, developing project documentation, monitoring timelines, tracking milestones, and assisting with stakeholder engagement. You'll also support analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring high-quality outcomes and compliance with departmental governance standards.

This is a temporary contract until the end of December.

THE ROLE -

  • Lead secretariat duties for project committees, ensuring timely follow-up of actions.

  • Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and risk registers.

  • Support reporting to senior stakeholders with dashboards, briefings, and data analysis.

  • Coordinate communications, workshops, and meetings across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Undertake research and analysis to support evidence-based planning.

  • Provide administrative and logistical support while ensuring compliance with governance, procurement, and audit requirements.

THE PERSON -

  • Proven project coordination and governance experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, complex environment.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Public Administration, or related field.

THE REQUIREMENTS -

  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work permit.

  • National Police Records Check and pre-employment screening.

  • Compliance with Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement 2024.
