Job description

Trade qualified Spray Painter looking for steady work, a clean workshop, and pride-in-finish jobs? Manpower is partnering with a well-established operation to appoint a Qualified Spray Painter to work on trucks and agricultural equipment, delivering consistent automotive-standard finishes. This is a genuine trade role with stable hours, high standards, and a team that values quality workmanship.

About the role
You will complete spray painting and minor repair work across trucks and agricultural equipment, ensuring every job meets quality and safety expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Spray paint trucks and agricultural equipment to automotive finish standards
  • Complete minor trade-based repairs including preparation, sanding, masking and touch-ups
  • Conduct inspections using written work instructions
  • Maintain a clean, organised and professional workshop environment
  • Accurately complete timesheets, repair orders and quality documentation
  • Work safely at all times in line with WHS procedures
  • Support team capability through knowledge sharing and assisting new starters

    What we are looking for
  • Trade qualified Spray Painter with Certificate III or equivalent
  • Proven experience delivering high-quality spray finishes
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Reliable, team-focused and able to follow written and verbal instructions

    Desirable experience
  • Experience with trucks, heavy equipment, agricultural machinery or industrial coatings
  • Confidence completing quality documentation and repair orders
  • Willingness to support apprentices or new starters as you grow in the role
