Job description

Just finished your apprenticeship and ready to step into a proper trade role? Or you're already qualified and want steady work, a clean workshop, and pride-in-finish jobs?
We're looking for a QUALIFIED Spray Painter to spray paint and complete minor repairs on agriculture equipment and trucks delivering an automotive-standard finish every time.
What you'll be doing
* Spray painting and paint repairs on trucks and agricultural equipment to automotive finish standards
* Minor repairs within trade scope (prep, sanding, masking, touch-ups, small rectification work)
* Conducting thorough equipment inspections using written work instructions
* Maintaining a tidy, professional workshop environment that reflects a premium brand image
* Completing job paperwork accurately (timesheets, repair orders, quality documents)
* Working safely at all times, following OH&S systems, procedures and policies
* Supporting team capability by sharing knowledge, assisting with inducting new starters, and suggesting improvements
✅ What we're looking for (must-haves)
* Completed apprenticeship / Trade qualified Spray Painter (Certificate III or equivalent)
* Proven spray painting experience with high-quality finishing standards
* Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Reliable, team-focused, and able to work from written and verbal instructions
⭐ Nice-to-haves
* Experience with trucks, heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, or industrial coatings
* Confidence with quality documentation and repair orders
* Comfortable mentoring apprentices / new starters as you grow in the role
💥 Why you'll like it here
* Trade role - not "apprentice duties" (you'll be treated like the qualified painter you are)
* Consistent work and a stable, long-term opportunity
* High standards workshop culture (clean, organised, safety-first)
* Variety of jobs across equipment and trucks (build solid experience fast)
* A team that values quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
