About the Role


This role sits within the Licensing and Compliance team and focuses on delivering high-quality customer service and administrative support. You'll handle client enquiries, manage records and data, support call centre operations, and help resolve customer issues in line with legislation and departmental procedures.


Key Responsibilities


  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and written correspondence

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls in a busy, customer-focused environment

  • Handle mail, electronic records, databases and customer service data

  • Provide accurate information to applicants and stakeholders, including escalated enquiries

  • Assess and resolve complaints and issues, escalating where required

  • Support the setup and ongoing operation of call centre services

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare basic reports on service outcomes

  • Identify trends in enquiries or complaints and suggest service improvements

  • Work collaboratively with the Licensing and Compliance team to meet service targets

  • Complete general administrative tasks as required

What We're Looking For


Skills & Experience


  • Experience in a customer service or call centre environment

  • Strong phone and written communication skills

  • Ability to interpret enquiries and provide accurate information using legislation or guidelines

  • Experience using databases, content management systems or call management systems (desirable)

  • Strong administrative and record-keeping skills

  • Confident using Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and charts
