A Large Government Department is looking for a Senior Portfolio Change Manager. The Senior Portfolio Change Manager will drive change execution activities for the foundational portfolio management phase. The aim of these activities is to ensure Members and staff are supported and engaged at the onset of their change journey, understand the program framework that will govern and deliver our transformational program, and understand how they will contribute to and be impacted by the change.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and define engagement plans
  • Prepare business leaders on the change management approach adopted in the Service Transformation Change Management Strategy via Program, Leadership and Change Leadership Training, as well as informal coaching where needed
  • mobilise and manage change champion networks
  • Document change impact assessments and obtain buy-in from business stakeholders
  • Define and drive change action plans informed by change impact assessments, in accordance with the program schedule
  • Develop targeted change communications in accordance with the Change Engagement Plan
  • Identify any change management stream risks/resistance and implement mitigations
  • Drive Business Readiness activities including supporting the business measure their readiness for the change
  • Support Program Leaders with defining HyperCare support models and support in the management HyperCare support activities
  • Drive continuous improvement of change activities and actively measure and report on the success of the change program.
