Site Manager - Construction (Remote/FIFO Projects)

Location: Northern Territory (Remote & FIFO options available)
Classification: Building and Construction Award
Reports To: Project Manager
Delegation Status: Supervisor

About the Role

As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects from start to finish. You'll be responsible for coordinating on-site activities, managing schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Supervise and motivate on-site staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure productivity and teamwork.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor progress and ensure work meets company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, providing updates and resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
  • Manage permits, inspections, and site logistics.
  • Evaluate project performance and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with NT WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and site-specific safety plans.

Qualifications & Experience

  • White Card (General Construction Induction)
  • Driver's Licence
  • Qualification in Building, Carpentry, Project Management or similar
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the construction industry

  • Willingness to travel and work remotely (FIFO roster)
  • Police Clearance
  • Working with Children Check (Ochre Card)
