We are looking for a Solution Designer with Data Warehouse background and the duration of the contract term is 12 months (possible extension)
Extensive data warehouse design experience required, including each of the following
Data Modelling - dimensional and ERD, and awareness of data vault
- ETL principles
- BI tools and techniques
- Data Warehouse interface specification.
Demonstrated experience in large data warehouse and analytics projects including estimating work efforts for upstream and downstream.
- Strong experience in end-to-end implementation of data intensive Analytics based projects (data acquisition, ingestion, integration, and transformation).
- Experience with hands-on database design and development.
- Define non-functional requirements, including - security, capacity, performance, cross capacity and cross release concerns.
- Experience with technology -COGNOS, QLIK, Oracle, SAS DI.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and respond under pressure with competing deadlines
The Deliverables for the Solution Designer include, but are not limited to the following:
- Deliver data warehouse and business intelligence solution design
- Assess Impact of operational system changes on the data warehouse
- Define non-functional requirements, including - security, capacity, performance, cross capacity and cross release concerns
- Presenting and building support for proposed solutions with our business and senior IT stakeholders.
Prior to any engagement, candidates will have to provide evidence of:
- security clearance (minimum BASELINE)
- police check (not older than 6 months)
- non-disclosure agreement (signed)
- Conflict of Interest (signed)
