With 23 production locations worldwide, they are one of the most successful companies in the Electronics Manufacturing industry, operating internationally within various markets: Electronic & Electromechanical Components, Circuit Boards, Intelligent Power and Control Systems

The Role


As the Assistant Accountant you will report to the Financial controller. Key to this role will be performing multiple duties within the accountancy domain which includes balance sheet reconciliation, complete the month end process for the business units, monthly end annual payroll tax calculation and time to time improve the accounting process

  • Oversee day to day operational accounts: AP/AR
  • Assisting with preparation and lodgment of statutory & tax compliance for the Group GST, FBT & BAS.
  • Manage day to day transactions and reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit cards
  • Fortnightly profit and loss reporting to management
  • Process fortnightly payroll
  • GL Reconciliations
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller with preparation and reconciliation of monthly Profit and Loss and Balance sheet.
  • Work closely with all components of the Management team to meet deadlines
  • Other ad-hoc tasks reasonably required

About You

As the Assistant Accountant, you will be passionate and enthusiastic. You will be a confident multi-tasker, communicate well with others and have strong technical knowledge of accounting concepts and processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Advanced excel and SAP experience
  • Flexibility in working with multiple systems and sources of information
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with foreign currency bank reconciliations/hedges
  • Great attention to detail and be results driven
  • Part-qualified accountant, or studying towards accounting qualification
