Our client is proudly Australia's leading steel manufacturing and distribution company.
They are currently seeking a boilermaker to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a reliable worker looking to grow within a stable industry.

• Carry out maintenance tasks in accordance with systems and processes to achieve operational performance targets and KPI's
• Carry out preventative maintenance program to ensure plant and equipment reliability and support operators in completing preventative maintenance
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner to ensure continuity of operations
• Is competent in the use of equipment required for the role (e.g. scrap handlers & folk-lifts).
• Identify and report issues with machinery.
• Assists in protecting product from loss or damage

Requirements:

• Certificate 3 in heavy fabrication
• Light to heavy fabrication skills
• Ability to interpret and read engineering drawings
• Ability to weld with the following
  • o MMA - Manual Metal Arc Welding
  • o GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding
  • o FCAW - Flux Core Arc Welding
  • o Air Arc Gouging
  • o Oxy Cutting, gouging

To be successfully considered for this work, you will hold a relevant Trade Certificate, have a high-level focus on Safety, current drivers' license and vehicle, and be able to pass Drug & Alcohol Test.
