This State Government department is in the look for a skilled Cloud Engineer with:
- Experience in Python data manipulation libraries (PySpark, Pandas, NumPy) and Scala
- Experience leading solutions using the Azure Data Components (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Synapse and Azure Databricks)
- Demonstrated Big Data experience with main focus on Spark, big data storage formats (such as Parquet)
- Strong experience in C# (.Net Core)
- Migration experience uplifting SSIS packages to native Azure Data Components
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
- Experience in Continuous Integration strategies and software, particularly Azure DevOps, in the context of working within an agile software application development team.
- Demonstrated experience with source control tools (e.g. Git, GitHub) is required.
- Data Modelling skills
- Experience using netCDF libraries and manipulating netCDF files is a bonus
