Exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction manager that is searching for a role of a lifetime. The company has been operating for several years and is in now growth mode due to the owner drive and passion to win forward work load.
This role requires you to working closely with the Owner of the business and provide exemplary leadership and organisation to our Clients and the site contractors to ensure construction is completed on time to the set quality standards, specifications. This means guiding positive H & S practices, leading site staff and fostering collaborative, effective and positive work environments on all build sites for all stakeholders throughout the entire build progress. You will also provide technical guidance and support, conduct regular site inspections, and proactively manage workloads and priorities across multiple sites.
The right candidate will be an experienced Project Manager with five or more years of successful client facing construction who is looking for the next step up. They will preferably be a Qualified Builder, and/or with a tertiary qualification in Project Management (or similar) in the construction sector an advantage. You will also have a proven track record of organisation, time management and delivery with property developers and investor level stakeholders.
Above all, the right candidate will be honest, reliable, have high attention to detail, safety and quality, able to follow process in MS office and project management software, and be comfortable working with people - colleagues, clients, contactors and consultants - and at ease working to deadlines and be resilient under pressure.
Ideal candidate will have Minimum 10 years' experience in commercial construction Proven ability to analyse & interpret building contracts and any other contracts connected with Property Development, Building and Design
Current Building licence either unrestricted or min 6 stories with willingness to increase
Current Driver's Licence
Ability to legally work within Australia.
Diploma of building and construction minimum qualification
High level of Knowledge/exposure Microsoft office and all programs
Knowledge/exposure to construction design and operation software such as, AutoCAD, Procore Etc
Experience in, or knowledge of Microsoft project would be an advantage.
Experience with, and a clear understanding of Quality, OH&S and Environmental management systems.
