Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Storeperson

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Storeperson to support warehouse and production operations. This role is essential in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials within a fast-paced industrial environment.


Key Responsibilities

Successful candidate will be responsible for:


  • Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load, unload, and transport materials.
  • Moving and stacking pallets within warehouse and production areas.
  • Conducting routine forklift safety inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
  • Accurately scanning, logging, and recording inventory movements.
  • Assisting with the receiving and dispatching of goods in alignment with safety procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard-free workspace.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet operational time-frames and quality standards.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • A current Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • Demonstrated experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items and perform manual handling tasks.
  • Effective communication, teamwork skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Basic computer or scanning system skills for inventory management.
