Job description

Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Salary: $34.58 per hour
Location: National Drive, Dandenong South (brand new facility)
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)




Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in a dynamic corporate environment. This role involves providing excellent customer service support to both internal and external clients, managing inquiries across multiple channels, and collaborating closely with team members to deliver timely and effective solutions.




Key Responsibilities




  • Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and emails promptly and professionally




  • Respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours and ensure timely follow-up




  • Address customer concerns, issues, and complaints with tact and diplomacy




  • Organise, file, and archive customer service documentation accurately




  • Escalate product quality or service issues to the relevant internal teams




  • Work towards meeting and exceeding key performance metrics




  • Comply with company policies, quality standards, and procedural requirements






Required Skills and Experience




  • Minimum 3 years of corporate or departmental customer service experience handling multiple communication channels (phone, email, etc.)




  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is essential




  • Strong typing skills with accuracy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)




  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving abilities




  • Ability to handle challenging customers calmly and professionally




  • High attention to detail and ability to learn complex product information




  • Australian citizen, permanent resident, or holding Protection/Asylum status
