We are seeking an experienced Senior Golang Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Golang, with a focus on microservices architecture and cloud-native development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust and scalable backend systems using Golang and related frameworks
• Design and implement microservices that communicate via message brokers
• Integrate with API gateways, authentication layers, and external systems
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and implement version control best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into high-quality technical solutions
• Contribute to technical decisions, best practices, and system architecture

Key Requirements:

• 8-10 years of overall software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang and relevant frameworks
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and messaging systems (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Experience with API gateway integration and authentication mechanisms (e.g. OAuth2, JWT)
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
• Prior work in high-scale, distributed systems environments
