React JS Developer required for initial 12 month contract in Sydney CBD. This role pays up to $455 per day including super. Full working rights are needed for this position and sponsorship cannot be considered.

We are looking for a passionate and capable React.js Developer to join a dynamic team building modern, scalable, and responsive front-end applications. You'll play a key role in creating elegant user interfaces and implementing reactive programming principles to deliver high-performing, event-driven experiences.
This role is ideal for a developer who thrives in fast-paced environments, values clean code, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to build intuitive and maintainable applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive front-end components using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Implement reactive programming techniques for improved performance and responsiveness
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and support data-driven UI rendering
• Work closely with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to deliver cohesive user experiences
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality
• Maintain thorough documentation and support testing efforts

Key Skills & Experience:

• Solid experience with React.js in a commercial environment
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 skills
• Experience with reactive programming concepts (e.g. RxJS, Redux Observable, or similar)
• Familiarity with component-based design, hooks, and state management
• Exposure to front-end build tools and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, Git)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of performance optimisation and accessibility standards
