My client provides ERP solutions to a wide variety industry verticals solutions for Small to Mid-Size Businesses in the Building Supplies, Manufacturing, IT and Field Service and Distribution vertical markets. The Product:

A cloud-based business management ERP solution designed for construction and building materials suppliers, across the globe. They are looking for a goal-oriented regional sales professional to effectively communicate the benefits of our industry-specific technology and illustrate how this clod-based solution can help profitably grow a prospect's business
.
About the role:

  • Work with an assigned territory (NSW) of potential prospects and independently cultivate new leads to generate opportunities that consistently fill your sales pipeline
  • Apply effective 'discovery' techniques to qualify leads, identify prospects' needs, build relationships, demonstrate ROI of our solutions, and to successfully manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate Spruce software by articulating how our solutions best meets the client's needs and improve operation.
  • Effectively utilise the SalesForce CRM to manage pipeline and track daily activities
  • Develop strong relationships with prospects and experience new places within an allocated territory. 30-50% travel required.

About you:

  • At least 2-3 years in software sales (ERP or SaaS selling is a plus), either in an "in-house customer service/sales" role within a hardware/building merchant merchant or "external sales", where you have developed and managed a geographic sales territory/region.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of reaching your sales objectives.
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with prospects and current customers and the ability to sell an ERP cloud technology solution to customers.
  • Able to thoughtfully listen to and identify a prospect's needs to decipher true requirements and offer potential solutions. Able to thoughtfully listen to and identify a prospect's needs to decipher true requirements and offer potential solutions.
  • "Hunter" mentality, with a demonstrated capacity to prospect for your own leads as well as cultivate leads from marketing and other sources to consistently fill the sales pipeline
  • Strong ability to turn leads into opportunities and move through a sales process to effectively close business
  • Experience and knowledge of timber and building materials businesses is a plus.


Our Australian corporate office is located in Mount Waverly, Victoria. Our sales team works remotely from within their sales territories, utilising our corporate premises as needed. The successful applicant must also be able to demonstrate their right to work in Australia.
