Storeperson (Forklift)

• $35 per hour
• MUST have forklift licence
• MUST complete police check

The Role

We are seeking to expand our Production team at our Wetherill Park facility. Our operations support the manufacture of a wide range of everyday consumer goods.

The Position

This is a role with the following responsibilities:

• 
  Picking raw materials to produce custom liquid chemical batches, including Class 3 flammable substances
• 
  Mixing chemical blends to specified concentrations
• 
  Pumping chemicals into bulk tanker trucks and packages ranging from 5 litres to 1,000 litres
• 
  Operating a forklift to pick materials and load/unload trucks and containers
• 
  Maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free production environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 
  Previous experience handling chemicals or flammable liquids in an industrial environment
• 
  A current Australian forklift licence (LF)
• 
  A current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence (highly regarded)
• 
  Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• 
  Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to complete required documentation accurately
• 
  Physical fitness and the ability to safely lift up to 25kg
• 
  A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
•
