We are seeking a reliable Trade Assistant to support the dismantling, repositioning, and installation of warehouse racking. This role suits someone with hands‑on skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a small team.

About the Role

You will assist with dismantling existing racking, assembling new Dexion racking, and ensuring all components are securely installed according to the provided floor plan. The work involves manual handling, use of hand and power tools, and following layout drawings to ensure accurate placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Dismantle existing racking and reposition it according to the floor plan
• Assemble and install new Dexion racking, including bolting units to the floor
• Unbolt, bolt, and secure clips, nuts, and bolts for racking configuration
• Assist with emptying racks in sequence and returning stock once repositioned
• Interpret and follow layout drawings for correct installation
• Work safely and efficiently as part of a two‑person team

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with racking assembly, warehouse fit‑outs, or a general trade background
• Competent using basic hand and power tools (drills, spanners, etc.) and able to bring own tools
• Ability to read and follow floor plans
• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices
• Reliable, physically capable, and able to work in a small team environment
