Role : Yardsperson

Location : Unanderra (Onsite)

Our client is proudly Australia's leading steel manufacturing and distribution company, known for their commitment to safety, quality, and reliable service. They are currently seeking a dependable Yardsperson to join the team.

This position is predominantly yard based and hands on, involving loading and unloading metal, maintaining a safe and organised yard, and supporting the team with general labouring duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Yard operations including loading and unloading metal products
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard
• Assisting with general labouring tasks as required
• Operating a forklift when needed
• Stock control and basic reporting
• Quality control and safe handling of materials

Skills and Experience:

• Valid Forklift Licence with a minimum of 6 months experience
• Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport (essential)
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
• Physically fit and able to complete manual labouring tasks
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Keen eye for quality control
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Comfortable working in environments that may be dusty, noisy, or involve repetitive tasks
• Reliable, safety‑focused, and a strong team player
