Job description
We are seeking a reliable and customer‑focused Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team supporting meal and bar service for Defence personnel. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a structured, friendly environment and takes pride in delivering high‑quality service.
About the Role
You will assist with daily dining and bar operations, ensuring all guests receive efficient, professional service. This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, as well as bar duties in accordance with RSA standards. You'll also help maintain clean, well‑presented service areas and support basic food preparation and restocking.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve meals to personnel during scheduled dining periods
- Provide professional bar service in line with RSA requirements
- Maintain clean and organised dining and bar areas
- Assist with basic food preparation and restocking
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Required Skills and Experience
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality or catering
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Eligibility for Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship and willingness to undergo an AFP check)
