We are now seeking for APS6 Policy officer for our large Federal Government client to commence initial contract of 6 months with 12 months possible extension.

Our client has multiple opportunities available and are eager to commence interviews asap!

Please note, applicants are required to be an Australian Citizen.

Job Specifics:

  • Available to be based in any State Capital City CBD
  • 37.5 Hour per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • Hybrid working options available.
  • After 12 months extension there's possibility of Permanency

Role responsibilities and duties

  • You will be responsible for the policy and administrative aspects of broadcast spectrum planning and regulation. You will be required to interpret regulation and policy and provide advice on broadcasting carriage policy issues.
  • You will be required to perform the administration and policy consideration of Licence Area
  • You will prepare various written work, including correspondence, reports, briefing papers, discussion papers relevant to legislation and policy issues.
  • You will work in a small team, where you will provide advice on the policy considerations relevant to requests from broadcasters for new and changed access to broadcasting spectrum.

  • contribute to shaping the culture of the agency and its capability for the future.
