Reporting into the Area Sales Manager for APAC, the country manager will be responsible for developing new businesses as well as leading all operations in Australia.

You be tasked with the following duties:

• Establishing new business streams across Australia
• Working with existing contracts to seek out further opportunities
• Building lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Liaising with existing and new clients face to face
• Managing supplier relationships
• Supporting the Commercial Manager with the evaluation of new investments
• Training and development of you team
• Management of a full P&L

As a well versed Sales professional, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience/s in the Logistics field (Shipping agency or Freight forwarding) in Australia
• Management experience
• Knowledge of the local logistics market
• Commercial vision and good people-management skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Results orientated
• Superb negotiation skills
• Flexibility
