Forklift Driver - Short Term Assignment - Huntingwood

About the Role:

A short-term assignment for an experienced Forklift Driver in a fast‑paced FMCG environment. The role involves operating gas‑powered counterbalance forklifts and handling heavy pallets. You will begin with pallet‑jack order picking before moving into full forklift duties once familiar with site processes and safety requirements.

Key Details:

• Location: Huntingwood
• Duration: 7 April - 27 April (3 weeks)
• Shift: Afternoon shift, 2pm-10pm
• Rate: $40.25 per hour
• Requirements: Police check prior to commencement

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate gas counterbalance forklifts safely.
• Load and unload trucks with care.
• Move pallets between production, storage, and dispatch areas.
• Perform RF‑scanner pick and pack tasks.
• Stack and organise pallets in designated locations.
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts.
• Report equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years' counterbalance forklift experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or high‑volume warehousing.
• Current LF Forklift Licence.
• Experience with gas forklifts and 1‑tonne pallets.
• Strong WHS awareness.
• RF scanning experience highly regarded.
