Manpower Professional is currently working with a world leader in sustainable transport solutions to find their new Indirect Procurement Manager. The right person will be a highly motivated professional joining a like minded team based across Australia and New Zealand.

About the role
The role is a 12-month contracted position which would see the successful applicant direct the company's spend, sourcing and supplier management across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Indirect Procurement (IP) Manager will lead the end-to-end procurement process, policy and procedure approach adjustments and work extensively with cross-functional stakeholders. Leverage supplier relationships to create effective and beneficial outcomes for the business.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement Analytics

  • Perform spend analysis to identify cost saving opportunities within the business
  • Generate monthly spend reports
  • Review and approve Procurement Requisitions


Stakeholder Engagements

  • Develop business cases for IP sourcing, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Create meaningful relationships with cross-functional partners in order to effectively engage and collaborate on IP projects
  • Creative positive working relationships with colleagues and design effective internal processes together
  • Work closely with cross-entity stakeholders to execute pooling category opportunities such as travel, fleet and IT


Marketing Engagement

  • Develop approach-to-market strategies for IP sourcing
  • Create tendering materials across different formats including EOI, RFP, and RFTs
  • Develop the Terms and Conditions for supplier contract alongside the legal team and provide contract reviews when needed
  • Lead technical and commercial negotiations


Supplier Management

  • Negotiate and review supplier contract variation requests, claims and variations, and cost escalation requests
  • Schedule and attend IP supplier meetings
  • Provide specialised and proactive insight on supplier activities


KPIs

  • Contribution to Growth Target and Net income
  • E-Auctions
  • Payment terms


We are looking for someone with

  • 5 -7 years' experience in an Indirect Procurement professional role
  • Exceptional Stakeholder Management - demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional partners in sourcing analysis and processed at management and/or executive level
  • Experience with Travel, and/or IT, and/or Fleet Vehicles, and/or Insurances, and/or Temporary Labour Hire, and/or Office Support, and/or Events and Marketing procurement
  • Experience using Enterprise systems (SAP preferred)
