Are you an experienced inventory professional who thrives in fast paced, high volume environments? We're looking for a hands on Operations Inventory Manager to lead accuracy, quality, and process excellence within an expanding distribution operation.
This role is perfect for someone who loves solving problems, building strong warehouse processes, and ensuring stock accuracy at scale.


About the Role


As the Inventory Manager, you will drive inventory accuracy, oversee quality and compliance programs, and support efficient warehouse operations. You will champion safety, lead investigations into discrepancies, and work closely with operations leadership to maintain a high performing, audit ready facility.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape standards, improve workflows, and support operational excellence in a fast moving logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
  • Oversee operational procedures for receiving, dispatch, stock movement, and documentation.
  • Lead quality assurance and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards and workplace procedures.
  • Investigate discrepancies, damages, OH&S issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, tour, ready warehouse environment.
  • Support workflow and floor space optimisation to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with warehouse leadership to resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.
  • Train team members on accurate stock handling, safety standards, and inventory procedures.

About You


You will succeed in this role if you have:

  • Strong experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or quality assurance.
  • A detail focused mindset with a track record of maintaining accurate stock records.
  • Confidence working in high volume logistics or fulfilment environments.
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and experience performing root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Experience with WMS/ERP systems and strong data literacy.
