Job description
Our client is a large manufacturer based in North West Sydney and they are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team with the foods category.
This role requires working closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders and will also work closely with the Project Manager to effectively engage with the Leadership Team at key times.
JOB SUMMARY
Develop the long-term growth strategy for the portfolio on a 3-5yr horizon
consumer insight & understanding
deep dive' analysis of competitor, market and financial data
understanding as to the drivers of brand and category growth
leveraging global best practice and learnings
strong understanding of customer requirements and strategies
Be the authority on segment knowledge including key performance indicators, competitiveness, promotional analysis, NPD tracking and overall performance vs. business case targets
Understand and drive the P&L
Quality input into the sales forecast and leading the development/execution of contingency plans when needed
Set and manage segment budgets
Create and execute briefs for pack design, POS, media plans (including Digital), PR and CEC Q&A's.
Set relevant KPIs for key activities, with ability to evaluate and determine ROI and optimise for future.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Proven track record of success as a Brand Lead or Brand Manager in independently crafting insightful, creative and effective integrated marketing plans and executing brilliant breakthrough activation in market
Proven ability to think creatively and work independently.
Strong FMCG experience would be ideal
Commercial acumen and cross functional understanding and capabilities
Sound customer marketing interface experience
Project management experience
Strong digital and analytical skills
